Galaxy Hotel - Athens

Clean rooms equipped okay. Nice balconies offer attractive views, but expect distractions.

The continuous roar of traffic from the boulevard out front makes relaxing nearly impossible, especially during the night. Breakfast offers a limited selection that doesn't get replenished, leaving latecomers to scramble for leftovers. Limited railings on stairs make navigation less than desirable, and the overall ambiance feels a bit too dated.

Great location, next to the marina. Booked an overnight stay before we went sailing. Beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was simple, little fresh fruit, eggs ran out very early in the morning and were not replenished because the staff did not take care. Cheese and sausage, as usual. The hotel is on the main street, very loud.

All the staff was very kind and we had an early check in. Had clean guest room with see view and wake-up service was available in it.

Traffic noise from the nearby road can be quite disturbing at night, impacting sleep quality. Limited parking availability may lead to frustration driving.

Good beach location. I was allowed to check out later on request. The staff is very helpful.

Unfortunately there were construction works during my stay, which could be heard clearly from 8:00 in the morning. It can't be avoided, though.

I enjoyed the clean, comfortable Sea View Room with fine ocean views. The traffic noise made sleep difficult.

Perfect view for sea view rooms specially when staying in room balcony it's noisy but good fun to see people walking, cars and motorcycle till late after midnight so you will go out to walk anytime. Vacation at Galaxy with lover or friends is perfect but for relax or business not recommended, hotel staff are very nice and kind. It's nice hotel.

Totally nice staff, super location (directly at the sea), good breakfast with view to the sea, great restaurants nearby. Clean rooms with everything you need.

We loved the clean and comfy rooms. The location was great for reaching the beach and exploring nearby parks. We even enjoyed snorkeling and a small cruise around the islands. Breakfast was good too.

There was a lot of street noise from the busy road outside, hard to relax sometimes.

Galaxy Hotel is a very nice, relaxing and friendly hotel, situated in an area which is close both to the city center and the beaches of Athens. Morever, it offers excellent value for money, which makes a longer vacation affordable. The sea view from the front rooms is fantastic!

It is indeed a noisy spot, but this is a problem all hotels on the coastal road have to face. However, the windows at Galaxy Hotel offer really good noise insulation and the rooms are equiped with air-conditioning units for the hot summer months.
